The Minnesota State Fair opens in a mere seven hours so I should probably crawl up over the cab and attempt to sleep. We’ve set up shop in my favorite campground of them all, wedged on a narrow lot in the shadow of the State Fair water tower. I’ll do little else in the upcoming 12-day stretch that doesn’t involve the Fair; it’s unlikely I’ll be doing any touring outside these hallowed 320 acres. But inside them? We’ll be having the absolute best time of the year. Be back after Labor Day.
